Ranveer’s Dhurandhar Part 1 and 2 locks Rs 130 crore OTT deal

Ranveer Singh's 'Dhurandhar' Part 1 and 2 locks massive Rs 130 crore OTT deal marking his biggest sale ever - Reports

‘Dhurandhar’ is dominating the box office, earning ₹130 crores in four days. Netflix reportedly acquired its OTT rights for ₹130 crores, covering both parts. Starring Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Arjun, the Aditya Dhar directorial continues its unstoppable run, with ‘Dhurandhar 2’ already in buzz.

‘Dhurandhar’, which hit screens last week, is proving unstoppable at the box office. The film’s strong Monday collections, crossing the ₹20 crore mark on day four, highlight its wide acceptance among audiences. Now, as per the reports, the makers are also set to make a huge profit from its OTT rights deal.

OTT blockbuster deal

According to Bollywood Hungama, Netflix has paid Rs. 130 crores for the streaming rights of ‘Dhurandhar’. This includes both parts. Hence, one can say that the rights were sold for around Rs. 65 crores each for ‘Dhurandhar’ Part 1 and Part 2. Nevertheless, this is a huge figure in today’s times when the OTT prices have crashed. Also, it is a significant shot-in-the-arm for Ranveer Singh. This is his biggest OTT deal yet, if we count the amount given to both parts of the film.

Soaring collections ahead

In just four days, ‘Dhurandhar’ has stormed the box office, raking in close to Rs. 130 crores domestically. With such strong momentum, the film’s final earnings are expected to soar even higher. The OTT rights deal has added extra sparkle to its success, strengthening its overall revenue. Meanwhile, anticipation is already high for ‘Dhurandhar 2’, which is expected to begin on a ringing note.

Power ensemble cast of ‘Dhurandhar’

‘Dhurandhar’ features a powerful ensemble cast led by Ranveer Singh as Hamza Ali Mazari, also known as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, an Indian undercover agent operating in Pakistan. He is supported by R. Madhavan as Ajay Sanyal, the senior intelligence officer behind Operation Dhurandhar, and Akshaye Khanna as Rehman Dakait, a dreaded Baloch gangster. Sanjay Dutt appears as SP Chaudhary Aslam, a no‑nonsense cop brought back to control gang wars, while Arjun Rampal plays Major Iqbal from the ISI, who is closely linked to anti‑India activities. Sara Arjun plays Yalina Jamali, the daughter of local politician Jameel Jamali and the love interest of Hamza.

‘Dhurandhar’

The film also includes notable performances by Rakesh Bedi as Jameel Jamali, Manav Gohil as Sushant Bansal, Naveen Kaushik as Donga, Gaurav Gera as Mohammad Aalam, Danish Pandor as Uzair Baloch, Asif Ali Haider Khan as Babu Dakait, Raj Zutshi as General Shamshad Hassan and Saumya Tandon as Ulfat.
