The Streamer Awards already had high energy buzzing through the Wiltern Theatre, but no one expected the night’s most talked-about moment to come from someone who wasn’t even accepting a trophy. India Love’s sudden appearance on stage flipped the room instantly, turning an otherwise simple award transition into a moment the entire internet is now replaying!FaZe Adapt had just been announced as Breakout Streamer of the Year, and the crowd was settling into the usual applause before moving on. Then India walked out, grabbed the mic and immediately shifted the mood. Within seconds, the audience went from polite clapping to loud disbelief as she launched into a speech that had nothing to do with the night’s script.

Audience boos as India Love storms the stage and rewrites the winners in real time

With full confidence, she announced her own preferred winners and dismissed the outcome entirely. She said, “Streamer of the year went to Adapt and congratulations, we respect you for what you did, but Raki should have won Breakout Streamer of the Year and DDG. I don’t care what y’all say. Shout out Raki. SHOUT OUT. BOOM BOOM BOOM.”The reaction was instant. Instead of clapping, the whole venue broke into loud boos. People online said the moment felt so random that they had to replay the clip to figure out what was going on. Security stepped in soon after. A viral clip shows India Love being escorted out of the venue, ending the moment almost as abruptly as it began. Reactions online continued long after, with some fans defending her and others calling the moment hard to watch. One user insisted, “She didn’t ruin nothing, ya’ll are just selective when it comes to these streamers,” while another argued, “This was breakout award, not most improved streamer of the year, c’mon ya’ll please, yes most of ya’ll will not agree with what she did, but she didn’t tell no lie.” Others felt differently, calling the move unnecessary, saying, “She didn’t ruin it but that was so tasteless.” And one comment summed up the harsher side of the backlash. It read, “How did she manage to be the cringiest part of this clown show?”The outburst overshadowed the award itself and became the headline of the night. Also read: Streamers Awards 2025: IShowSpeed wins Streamer of the year award
