‘Dhurandhar’ opened to a strong start in India, raking in Rs 27 crore on Friday. The momentum picked up on Saturday, with morning show occupancy rising from 15% to 18% and afternoon slots increasing from 28% to 35%. According to Sacnilk, this surge helped the film earn Rs 31 crore net on its second day. Overall, Dhurandhar has amassed a total of Rs 58 crore net domestically in just two days.
Plot and cast details
‘Dhurandhar’ centers on Intelligence Bureau Chief Ajay Sanyal, portrayed by R. Madhavan, who embarks on a critical mission to take down a terror network operating in Pakistan. Ranveer plays a Punjabi man who, after being recruited from prison, is trained to penetrate the criminal circles in Karachi.
