Dhanush is dominating 2025 box office with three hits. His latest, ‘Tere Ishk Mein’, reunited with Aanand L. Rai, has surpassed Rs 93 crore in just nine days, becoming his highest grosser this year. The film’s strong performance, fueled by audience connection and star chemistry, is propelling it towards the Rs 100 crore milestone.

Dhanush is having a dream run at the box office in 2025 with three releases and all three minting money at the ticket window. He began the year with Kkuberaa Sekhar Kammula’s Kuberaa which also featured Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna and Jim Sarabh. The film went on to collect Rs 90.9 crore at the box office. He followed it up a romantic drama film Idli Kadai under his own direction with Shalini Panday and Nithya Menonas his leading actresses. The film went on to mint Ts 50.49 crore. And his third film was his re-union with Aanand L Rai for Tere Iskh Mein after Raanjhanaa and Atrnagi Re. The film in just 9 days has officially become his highest-grossing film of the year. Co-starring Kriti Sanon in the lead, the film has shown exceptional consistency over its first nine days, steadily building momentum and surpassing the lifetime collections of both Kuberaa and Idli Kadai.Tere Ishk Mein currently stands at a strong Rs 93.05 crore after nine days. The film opened on a solid note, collecting Rs 16 crore on Day 1 (Rs 15.25 crore Hindi,Rs 75 lakh in Tamil). The first weekend maintained an impressive climb to Rs 17 crore on day 2 and Rs 19 crore on day 3. With that the weekend collection stood at Rs 52 crore. The weekdays also demonstrated storng hold for the film, with Monday collected Rs 8.75 crore, Tuesday earning Rs 10.25 crore, Wednesday adding Rs 6.85 crore and Thursday contributing Rs 5.8 crore, with that the week 1 collection stood at Rs 83.65 crore. On its second Friday, the film faced stiff competition from Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar but still managed to add Rs 3.75 crore to its tally and on Saturday it even witnessed a strong over 50 % bounce to collect Rs 5.75 crore, thereby taking the collection of the film to Rs 93.05 crore. This Day 9 spike is what pushed the film past the lifetime figures of Kuberaa, setting a new 2024 benchmark for Dhanush.The Dhanush–Aanand L. Rai pairing, known for the emotional depth of Raanjhanaa and Atrangi Re, appears to have struck gold again. The film’s mix of heartfelt drama, melodic music, and the chemistry between Dhanush and Kriti Sanon has strongly connected with audiences across both Hindi and Tamil belts. The film is now on its way to Rs 100 crore mark whihc it should cross either by Sunday night or Monday night. Kriti Sanon would be next seen in Homi Adajani’s Cocktail 2 with Shahid Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna.
