He wrote: “I joined the tens of thousands of passengers stranded by Indigo. My flight to Deoghar has been cancelled. My sincere apologies to my young staff waiting for me to attend his shaadi. Lost for words.” IndiGo’s operational problems have entered a fourth straight day, causing chaos at airports across India. Passengers are reporting long waits, vacant counters, lost luggage, and a lack of food and water. The airline has apologised, saying the disruptions are caused by “unforeseen operational challenges,” including technical issues, weather interruptions, and revised crew duty rules (FDTL norms).Meanwhile, the ministry of civil aviation has issued directives to stabilise operations. It expects IndiGo’s flight schedules to normalise by Monday.
