Russia-India Relations: India’s S-400 Power Back in Spotlight as Putin’s Visit Pushes Key Defence Talks

India’s S-400 air-defence system has once again become a global talking point as Russian President Vladimir Putin visits New Delhi. The S-400, known for its long-range tracking and interception capability, provides India with a powerful shield against enemy aircraft, drones, and missiles. The system’s multi-layered coverage and rapid response have significantly strengthened India’s air-defence posture against regional threats.
