Rashmika on February Rajasthan wedding with Vijay

Rashmika Mandanna breaks silence on February Rajasthan wedding with Vijay Deverakonda, ‘When it’s to be spoken about, we shall’

Vijay Deverakonda’s team has confirmed his engagement to longtime partner and co-star Rashmika Mandanna, marking a major milestone in the couple’s nearly seven-year relationship. The Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade duo reportedly held a private engagement ceremony in October 2025 and are now planning a wedding for February 2026. An official statement from both the Mandanna and Deverakonda families is still awaited. With reports swirling about a possible destination wedding in Rajasthan, Rashmika addressed the speculation during a recent interaction with The Hollywood Reporter India. She neither denied nor confirmed the news but appealed for patience.“I wouldn’t like to confirm or deny the marriage. I will just say when it’s to be spoken about, we shall,” the actress said, choosing not to reveal details publicly just yet.

‘Everyone should have a Vijay Deverakonda in their lives’

In November, during the success meet of her critically acclaimed film The Girlfriend in Hyderabad, Rashmika grew emotional while acknowledging Vijay’s constant support.“Viju, you’ve been a part of this film since the beginning… and you’re a part of the success of the film… You’ve been a part of this whole journey so personally. I can just hope that everyone has a Vijay Deverakonda in their lives because that’s a blessing,” she said, as the crowd cheered. She later opened up about how his presence has helped her emotionally.“Luckily, I have a partner who has healed me from a pain he didn’t cause,” Rashmika revealed in an interview, adding that she has to “give him that applause and thank him for it.”

Rashmika Mandanna Says ‘I Will Marry Vijay Deverakonda’ Amid Wedding Rumours

‘Yes, I will marry Vijay’

At a townhall event, when asked which of her co-stars she would marry, Rashmika didn’t hesitate.“Yes, I will marry Vijay,” she replied confidently, earning loud applause from the audience.During promotions for The Girlfriend, the actress also described her idea of a life partner, a statement widely believed to reference Vijay.“If there is a war against me tomorrow, I know that man will fight with me. I’ll do the same—I’ll take a bullet for him any day. That is my kind of person,” she said. The couple’s bond strengthened after working together on Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade, and their public appearances over the years have only fuelled speculation. While both stars have kept their private life guarded, reports from their teams and repeated hints during public interactions now point firmly toward a February 2026 wedding. Go to Source
