Kash Patel’s ‘mic drop’ reply to Eric Swalwell on ‘jacket row’: ‘I spent zero days dating a Chinese spy’

Kash Patel's 'mic drop' reply to Eric Swalwell on 'jacket row': 'I spent zero days dating a Chinese spy'

FBI director Kash Patel shut down Democratic Rep Eric Swalwell without shying away from a highly controversial topic of dating a spy at a time Patel is embroiled in several controversies, and one of those is the conspiracy theory that he is dating an Israeli spy. The showdown between Patel and Swalwell started over a report that claimed Patel threw tantrums when he went to Utah immediately after Charlie Kirk’s assassination. A new report citing insiders claimed that Kash Patel did not have his FBI jacket with him, and he was not ready to get off his plane without an FBI jacket. Officers busy in their work threw themselves into finding a spare jacket for the boss but only a woman officer’s jacket could be managed. “I don’t mind that FBI Director Kash Patel had to wear a women’s (size medium) jacket to cosplay as someone in charge. I just wish he’d focus on stopping the rampant domestic terrorism happening on his watch,” Eric Swalwell wrote, reacting to the report.Patel chose to react to the jibe and instead of declining the jacket incident, he took the inside leak on his stride and said he was looking for ‘Youth Large’ size and not a woman’s jacket. And then he dropped the bomb as he said: “Domestic terrorism arrests are UP 30% this year — impressive, considering I spent zero days dating a Chinese spy named Fang Fang, where should I send your women’s medium for date night?” In a FOX news interview, he said the jacket story was 100% false. He said he was given the jackets by one of his agents who told him, ‘Hey boss! You should probably wear this”. Another person offered him the SWAT patches and Patel said he was honored to wear those.A Chinese national Fang Fang, also known as, Chistine Fang created a stir in California because of her close ties with California politicians. Fang Fang, an apparent honeytrap, entered the US from China as a college student in 2011 and allegedly spent the next four years in getting sensitive government intelligence by wooing lawmakers. Swalwell was believed to be one of them. Fang reportedly raised funds for Swalwell’s 2014 re-election campaign and they interacted closely during that time. Swalwell was probed but the House Ethics Committee closed the investigation after two years and said it would not take any action against Swalwell. As social media users called Kash Patel’s reply a ‘mic drop’ moment, Patel made it clear that despite the mounting criticisms over his personal life, he does not shy away from the ‘spy’ topic. MAGA activists targeted his partner, Alexis Wilkins and called her an Israeli spy. Patel strongly defended her, calling her a true American patriot.
