Swara Bhasker’s father-in-law suffers brain haemorrhage; actress asks fans to keep him in their prayers

Swara Bhasker has revealed that her father-in-law, politician Fahad Ahmad’s father, has been hospitalised after suffering a brain haemorrhage. She took to her Instagram Stories to share an update on his condition, informing followers that he had undergone surgery.Swara wrote, “Fahadh’s father, my father in law had brain hemorrhage last night and was operated on early this morning.”Requesting prayers for his recovery, she added, “We are attending to this unfortunate family emergency and will be unavailable for some days. Please keep Uncle in your prayers. (folded hands emojis).” Fahad, meanwhile, has not posted anything publicly about his father’s health.

Swara and Fahad’s journey

Swara and Fahad, who were friends for three years before tying the knot, married on 16 February 2023 through a court ceremony registered under the Special Marriage Act. The couple first met during a protest in 2019.In September 2023, they welcomed their first child, daughter Rabiya. Soon after her birth, Swara shared a heartwarming picture of her father-in-law holding baby Rabiya while her own father looked on. She captioned it, “Tata + Dada (heart emoji).”

Work front

Swara was last seen in the 2020 film Sheer Qorma and the 2022 releases Jahaan Chaar Yaar and Mimamsa. She also appeared in the 2021 web series Aapkey Kamrey Mein Koi Rahta Hai.Earlier this year, Swara and Fahad participated in the game show Pati Patni Aur Panga, where they emerged as the third runners-up. She has also completed shooting for Mrs Falani, which is awaiting release.
