Delhi: Police busts Pak-backed gangster-turned-terror module; nabs three terrorists

NEW DELHI: Delhi police on Sunday arrested three terrorists after busting Pakistan-backed gangster-turned-terror module in the national capital.According to the special cell of Delhi police, the module was operational internationally and was spread across multiple states in India.According to the additional commissioner of police Pramod Kumar Kushwaha, the module had recently threw a hand grenade in front of the Gurdaspur City Police Station on November 25. “Special Cell of Delhi Police busted a module being led by a Pakistani national, Shahzad Bhatti, a gangster who is currently working at the behest of the Intelligence Agency of Pakistan. Three people have been arrested. One among them is Hargunpreet Singh, from Punjab. The second man involved is Vikas Prajapati, from Datia, Madhya Pradesh, and the third is Arif, from Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. They recently threw a hand grenade in front of the Gurdaspur City Police Station on the 25th,” Kushwaha said.”He executed the attack, and these same boys were involved in the incident and have been arrested. Apart from this, there were many other places on their target where this group had done videography, recce and they had to throw hand grenades…Shahzad Bhatti used to give directions from outside and was handling this group directly as well as with his associates and was running terror activities by using young boys whom he recruited through social media apps or through his other contacts. There are one or two more links of this group which will be shared with the Punjab Police, and action will be taken against them, and those people will also be arrested,” he added.(This is a developing story)
