As the first day of the deadline passes, the Opposition seems unfazed, escalating the conflict instead. In key meetings led by INDIA bloc leaders, talks of initiating impeachment proceedings surfaced, citing ECI’s alleged bias and intimidation. However, with Parliament’s monsoon session nearing its end and numbers not favoring the Opposition, the move appears more symbolic than feasible. Meanwhile, the ECI released a detailed list of 6.5 million deleted voters in Bihar, challenging critics to verify its accuracy.
