A shocking incident has emerged from Boudhi International School in Ratlám, where an 8th-grade student allegedly attempted suicide after being put under intense pressure by the school administration. According to initial details, the child was found with a mobile phone, following which the school principal reportedly insisted he call his parents immediately. CCTV footage also shows the staff questioning him. Despite the student reportedly apologizing 40 to 50 times, the principal allegedly refused to let the matter go. The child—terrified and overwhelmed—panicked to such an extent that he jumped from the third floor of the school building. The boy, a promising skating player who was set to compete at the national level, has suffered multiple fractures, including serious injuries to his legs. Doctors in Ahmedabad are currently treating him, but his future in sports remains uncertain. The school administration denies the allegations, claiming no excessive pressure was put on the child. However, the incident has sparked outrage among parents and raised serious questions about the sensitivity and responsibility of teachers and school systems. The case stands as a worrying reminder of how emotional pressure on young students can lead to devastating consequences.
