Balakrishna reveals ‘Akhanda 2’ theme, thanks fans for support, hails cast and crew ahead of December 5 release

Nandamuri Balakrishna revealed the theme of ‘Akhanda 2: Thandavam’ at the pre-release event, stating it focuses on divine retribution against those harming children or nature. He thanked fans for their unwavering support and praised the cast and crew, expressing confidence in the film’s success ahead of its December 5 release.

The ‘Akhanda 2’ pre-release event was held in Hyderabad recently, with the entire cast and crew in attendance and a huge fan following. On this occasion, Nandamuri Balakrishna shared his thoughts on the story of the film. He said: “If anyone tries to harm children or nature, God will appear in human form. The wrongdoers will be punished as God incarnate. This is the theme of ‘Akhanda 2: Thandavam’.”

NBK thanks fans and shares a powerful dialogue

Nandamuri Balakrishna thanked his fans. “Cinema has become an important part of everyone’s life. So, those in the industry should make the film with consideration,” he said. He shared a recently released dialogue: “There are many people in history, but only one can make history again and again. That history is me, and that history belongs to me.” Balakrishna also says how important working with technicians is to the success of his films. “Cinema is a soul. I look after my fans and audience and try to deliver fertile cinema. ‘Akhanda’ was released during the pandemic, and it became a blockbuster. They have once again proved that the Telugu audience will support a good film,” he said.

Balakrishna’s versatile approach to multiple responsibilities

Describing the role of Aghora in ‘Akhanda 2’ as “God’s grace”, he said, “Director Boyapati Srinu and I will only have a few minutes of discussion. I am like mercury, who can play all roles. Today I am an actor, Hindupur MLA, and chairman of Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital. This is the blessing of my parents,” he said.

Balakrishna praises cinematic vision

On his cinematic vision, Balakrishna said: “I am like Ugadi chutney — my films have all the juices. I can confidently say that Akhanda 2 will be a huge hit.” Appreciating the efforts of the make-up and costume team, they said that they have produced a wonderful result in a short time. Sharing his experiences of shooting in cool and beautiful locations, he praised the efforts of the next heroes, Adhi Pinisetty, Samyuktha, and the action and cinematography team.

‘Akhanda 2’ gears up for grand release on December 5
