Alanna once revealed in her home tour that the family has lived here for nearly two decades. “So this is where we’ve stayed, I think for the past 17 or 20 years,” she shared. Before moving in, the Pandays lived in a joint family setup with cousins Ananya and Rysa. “As the kids grew up, I think it was time for everyone to get their own space,” Alanna explained, adding with a laugh that despite living overseas now, her fingerprint still isn’t registered in the home’s biometric entry system.
Where Celebrations Never End
From haldi ceremonies to milestone birthdays, the house has been the backdrop for countless family memories. A sprawling front yard and a tree-shaded seating area anchor its charm. Inside, two airy living rooms: one of which was once an outdoor patio – play host to friends, family, and Ahaan’s ever-expanding circle. “Even though there are just four people that live in this house, there are so many people constantly over,” Alanna said. “We always have friends, family, even my dad’s meetings. It’s always full.”
Heart of the House
The kitchen doubles as a hub of organised chaos, with two sections for cooking and prep. A towering china cabinet overflows with mugs – a testament to what Alanna laughingly calls “mom logic.” Nearby, an underused bar sits ready for the occasional party, despite no one in the family being a drinker.
Ahaan’s Den and Family Corners
Upstairs, the energy shifts between playful and private. Ahaan’s room adjoins a lively game room, where board nights and group hangouts often unfold. “A lot of Ahaan’s friends hang out here, which is why it doesn’t match the aesthetic of the rest of the house,” Alanna teased.
Meanwhile, the top floor belongs to Alanna and her husband, Ivor. Once a sun-baked terrace, it has been transformed into a breezy glass-walled suite. “This floor is actually my favorite section of the entire house… We needed a little space within the house where we could just, you know, have our little home,” she shared.
Despite fame knocking at Ahaan’s door, the Panday family home remains a grounded, joy-filled haven – one that blends warmth, chaos, and countless memories into its every corner.
