Kajol opens up on arguments with her kids and why it’s necessary

Kajol reveals she has arguments with daughter Nysa, son Yug and it's also necessary between parents and children: 'We have raised a mind that...'

Kajol was recently seen with her mother Tanuja at the trailer launch of Renuka Shahane’s film ‘Uttar’. During the trailer launch event, Kajol opened up on her relationship with her children. Ajay Devgn and Kajol who have been married for 26 years are parents to Nysa Devgn and Yug Devgn. During the event, the ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ ctress opened up on how she navigates conflicts with her children. She said, “Thank god my daughter is not here to answer this question. She will argue with me about it. It’s absolutely true. It is necessary to have arguments between parents and children.” The actress further added that such disagreements are healthy and said, “If we fight, we realise that we have raised a mind that argues with us and has a point of view of its own. So, we have raised our children to think for themselves. When they argue with me, I look at it as a compliment.” As she spoke about her conflicts with her children, Kajol joked that she never argued with her mom. Tanuja was quick to respond as she said, “You did it all the time.”At the event, Kajol looked gorgeous in a black saree as she stole the show. On work front, she was seen in ‘Maa’ this year. She also had OTT releases like ‘Sarzameen’ and season 2 of ‘The Trial’.
