Andhra King Taluka is off to a strong start, outperforming other releases in North America with over $326,000 collected. The film is also a hit domestically, crossing Rs 7 crore in just two days. Its success is attributed to the combined appeal of Ram Pothineni and Upendra, alongside Bhagyashri Borse’s fresh presence, driving strong occupancy, especially in mass centers.

Ram Pothineni, Upendra, and Bhagyashri Borse’s romantic drama Andhra King Taluka has started its theatrical journey on a steady and promising note, both in India and overseas. The film is showing particular strength in the North American market going past Dhanush, Aanand L Rai and Kriti Sanon’s Tere Ishk Mein and Keerthy Suresh’s Revolver Rita.According to early estimates, Andhra King Taluka has grossed USD 268,000 from North America across premieres and Day 1 combined. Out of this, the premieres alone contributed a healthy USD 123,000, indicating that the film opened with strong anticipation among Telugu audiences overseas. On Day 2, till early evening the film had grossed USD 58,000 signaling a steady hold. Though the numbers are still being compiled for the full day, early signs point to a solid Saturday that may push the film past the USD 350,000 mark. The total collection till now is around USD 326,000 ( Rs 2.90 crore), while Tere Ishk Mein collected USD 57,000 and Revolver Rita at USD 3,000.Meanwhile, in India, the film is performing even more strongly. In just 2 days, Andhra King Taluka has crossed the Rs 7 crore mark, establishing itself as a solid runner at the domestic box office. The film earned Rs 4.15 crore on day 1 and Rs 3 crore on Day 2.The film was released on a Thursday as it was part of its contract with Netflix, this was stated by Ram in one of his interviews. The mass appeal of the film, combined with Upendra’s long-standing fanbase and Ram’s rising popularity, has fueled occupancy across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, especially in single screens and mass pockets.Bhagyashri Borse’s presence has also added freshness to the film’s appeal, drawing attention from younger audiences. She is expected to be seen next in Priyadarshan’s Haiwaan with Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan where Mohanlal makes a guest appearance.
