Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda may have won hearts with their magical chemistry in ‘Saiyaara’, but it is their real-life bond that has truly taken over the internet. The duo recently picked up an award, and spoke warm words about each other and the film.

Ahaan Panday thanks the team of ‘Saiyaara’

During his speech, Ahaan Panday admitted that many people had obstructed his path to success. He also took a heartfelt moment to thank those who had helped him rise to fame with ‘Saiyaara’. As reported by CNN-News18, he said,“I want to thank all the people who helped me. For starters, my mumma and my papa. I know you will be watching this and be very happy.”Ahaan went on, “Mohit Suri, you have given me life. You have given me something that, in my wildest imagination, I couldn’t have dreamed of. Shanoo Sharma, you have stood by me and believed in me even though there were so many naysayers. Aditya Chopra, sir, you have given me this whole platform… the whole team of Saiyaara.”He continued, “The film crew, I know how thankless the job is, so thank you. It wouldn’t have been possible without you. All love here, always. The press, the audience. This means the world, thank you.”

Aneet Padda’s heartfelt words for Ahaan Panday

Speaking with visible emotion, Aneet remembered her long journey and how Ahaan became a major part of it. She shared how deeply he contributed to everything she felt and achieved during the film. She explained, “I was chasing a feeling since I was 10 and I can safely say that he’s given me my forever and ever. And so has Ahaan. If it wasn’t for him, I don’t think the film would have happened and I don’t think I would have felt all that I did.”Aneet continued by saying, “You guys don’t realise the amount of times it’s been really difficult on set and he always had my back. So thank you so much.”

Aneet Padda praises Ahaan Panday

As she reached the end of her speech, Aneet looked towards Ahaan with clear admiration before delivering the line that took over the internet within minutes, “And it’s the best feeling in the world to be on the stage with one of the best men in the world. So thank you.”

Aneet Padda and Ahaan Panday dating rumours

Ever since ‘Saiyaara’ released in July 2025, the duo have been spoken about as much for their personal rapport as their screen presence. Their romantic drama introduced them as fresh faces, and audiences instantly connected with their chemistry. Soon after the release, fans began wondering if their friendship was turning into something more. Every time the pair were spotted together, from restaurants to airports, the internet sparked with new rumours. During the podcast ‘Serving It Up With Sania’, Sania Mirza asked filmmaker Karan Johar about the pair. His reply added more fun to the guessing game. Johar said, “Well… they are not yet official, so if they are going to be, I don’t know whether or not because I haven’t checked.”

Ahaan Panday on his equation with Aneet

Amid all the talk, Ahaan decided told GQ India, “Aneet is my best friend. The whole internet thinks we’re together, but we’re not. Chemistry isn’t always romantic — it’s about comfort, safety, and being seen. We’ve both made each other feel that. Even though she’s not my girlfriend, I’ll never have a bond like I have with Aneet.”
