Dharmendra’s prayer meet to be held tomorrow evening; poster reads ‘Celebration of life’

Veteran actor Dharmendra’s prayer meet has been scheduled for November 27, the family announced on Wednesday. In a poster shared publicly, they revealed that the gathering will take place from 5 pm to 7:30 pm at a luxurious hotel in Mumbai. The poster features a striking photograph of Dharmendra from his younger days along with the words “Celebration Of Life”, inviting friends and well-wishers to honour the late legend.

Dharmendra’s final days

Dharmendra was recently admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in South Mumbai due to health complications. Although he was discharged, reports suggested that he had been placed on a ventilator after experiencing breathing difficulties. Despite signs of improvement, the legendary star passed away on November 24. His last rites were conducted the same day, with several Bollywood personalities — including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan — in attendance.

Celebrities continue to visit Deol residence

Since his passing, many celebrities have been visiting Dharmendra’s Juhu residence to offer their condolences to the grieving Deol family. On Tuesday, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor were seen arriving to pay their respects. Hrithik Roshan also visited later in the evening with his father, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan.Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan, Asha Parekh, Karisma Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani were among the other prominent names spotted at the residence as the industry collectively mourns the loss of one of its most beloved stars.

Even in his late 80s, Dharmendra remained active on the big screen. He featured in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and Shahid Kapoor’s Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, delighting fans with his enduring charm.The actor will also be seen posthumously in Sriram Raghavan’s upcoming film Ikkis.
