De De Pyaar De 2 outperforms Laalo-Krishna Sada Sahaayate on Tuesday

Ajay Devgn’s ‘De De Pyaar De 2’ leads Tuesday box office race, outperforming ‘120 Bahadur’, ‘Mastiii 4’, ‘Eko’, and ‘Laalo-Krishna Sada Sahaayate’

De De Pyaar De 2 led the box office on Tuesday with ₹1.75 crore, maintaining strong momentum in its second week. The rom-com sequel’s success is notable against newer releases. Gujarati blockbuster Laalo also showed remarkable consistency, earning ₹1.70 crore, while Mastiii 4 and Malayalam thriller Eko followed closely. Farhan Akhtar’s war drama 120 Bahadur also performed steadily.

In an exciting and tightly contested box office clash this Tuesday, Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh’s De De Pyaar De 2 emerged as the top performer among all major releases currently in theatres. Despite facing stiff competition from multiple films across genres and languages, the rom-com sequel delivered the highest single-day number with Rs 1.75 crore on its 12th day, reaffirming its steady hold and strong acceptance among urban multiplex audiences. The total collection of De De Pyaar De 2 stand at Rs 64.95 crore. What makes DDPD 2’s lead notable is the fact that the film is now well into its second week, yet its day-to-day performance continues to show resilience against three films which are still in their first week. Right behind DDPD 2, the Gujarati blockbuster Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate remained extremely solid, earning Rs 1.70 crore on Tuesday. While it missed the top spot by a slim margin, Laalo’s remarkable consistency deep into its run is a story in itself, well into its seventh week the film has minted more than Rs 76 crore, having a profit percentage of over 15,000 %. It has gone on to become the highest-grossing Gujarati film ever and its ability to stand neck-and-neck with new releases highlights the film’s extraordinary trend, driven largely by repeat viewing and strong emotional connect.

In third place was Mastiii 4, which brought in Rs 1.60 crore. The adult comedy franchise with Vivek Oberoi, Ritiesh Deshmukh and Aftab Shivdasani continues to retain a loyal audience base, particularly in single screens and smaller centres. This number, though not enough to overtake DDPD 2 or Laalo, indicates a steady hold after a decent opening week. The film’s performance has been stable, indicating that it is managing to find its core viewership even amid stiff competition. The total collection of the film stands at Rs 11.70 crore. Sharing the same Tuesday figure was Eko- a Malayalam thriller , which also earned Rs 1.60 crore. The film has been performing reasonably well and has earned Rs 9 crore till now. .Close behind was Farhan Akhtar’s 120 Bahadur, which collected Rs 1.50 crore on Tuesday. Though slightly lower than its competitors, the war drama’s performance remains consistent and has the highest total collection amongst the films released with it, it has earned Rs 13 crore in 5 days. Overall, Tuesday turned out to be a surprisingly competitive day at the Indian box office. Yet De De Pyaar De 2 secured the clear lead with its Rs 1.75 crore haul.
