Pakistan News: After Dharmadhwaja Ceremony, Pakistan moves to UN Over 1992 Babri Masjid Demolition Incident

After the Dharmadhwaja ceremony in Ayodhya, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister on Wednesday issued an instigating letter to the United Nations, in which it referred to the December 6, 1992 Babri Masjid demolition. Pakistan claimed that recent developments surrounding in ceremony were concerning and demanded UN attention. Meanwhile, in a separate development in Pakistan, former Prime Minister Imran Khan has been detained for four weeks in Rawalpindi’s Adiyal Jail. His sisters and PTI workers have demanded that family members be allowed to meet him . Despite court orders permitting the meeting authorities reportedly did not allow his sisters to enter the jail. Speaking to reporters , Imran khan’s sister said, ” After court orders they are still not allowing us to meet him even for five minutes. If they allow us, we will then peacefully go, We don’t know how his condition is – whether he is well or not.”
