‘Tere Ishk Mein’ gets U/A certificate from CBFC

'Tere Ishk Mein' gets U/A certificate from censor board, here's the runtime and other details of the Kriti Sanon, Dhanush starrer

Aanand L Rai’s upcoming film ‘Tere Ishk Mein’, starring Dhanush alongside Kriti Sanon, is gearing up for release with impressive buzz. The movie’s advance bookings look good at the moment, reflecting growing anticipation among audiences. Adding to the momentum, reports now indicate that the film has also secured its censor clearance.According to sources, the Central Board of Film Certification has approved the movie without demanding any visual edits. The intense action and passionate romantic scenes remain as they are, with only a single dialogue—containing one word—being altered. With that minor modification, ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ received a U/A 16+ rating on November 24. The certificate also lists a runtime of 169.17 minutes, amounting to 2 hours, 49 minutes and 17 seconds.

Kriti Sanon Drops Selfies With Dhanush As ‘tere Ishk Mein’ Trailer Launch Nears!

The trailer offers an immersive look into the turbulent, emotionally charged world of Shankar and Mukti — a love story that defies logic, time and fate. The latest visuals shed light on the film’s deeper themes of longing, loss and transformation, presenting darker, more complex layers that went beyond what the teaser and songs had hinted. Rai’s signature storytelling approach, combined with the poignant writing of Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav, promises a compelling and evocative cinematic experience. An AR Rahman musical with lyrics by Irshad Kamil, ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ is directed by Aanand L Rai and written by Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav. The project reunites Dhanush and Rai after ‘Raanjhanaa’. Speaking about their creative journey, the filmmaker recently said, “After our last film, there were emotions we never fully let go of. Dhanush and I kept revisiting that space — what happens to love when innocence fades, when time changes people. Tere Ishk Mein grew from that unfinished thought.”
