PM Modi Declares India’s 500-Year Resolve Fulfilled With Dharma Flag Ceremony At Ayodhya Ram Temple

Yogi lavished praise on RSS, crediting it and other organisations like it for having united devotees to demand the construction of the temple.RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said the event marked the culmination of a centuries-long aspiration. “This is a day of fulfilment. Countless people sacrificed their lives and contributed to the cause of Lord Ram over generations. Their souls will finally be able to live in peace with the Dharm Dhwaj reaching the pinnacle of the Ram Temple,” he said at the ceremony. “The unfurling of this pious flag has brought a deep sense of closure and reaffirmation of an ancestral resolve,” Bhagwat said. The RSS chief, noting the temple flag exemplifies a virtuous way of living, said: “Society must emulate this. It is an emissary of the Sun that remains committed to its duty and fulfils it irrespective of the odds and adversities.” Quoting from Vedic texts, he said those born in this land must live lives that inspire the world and contribute to shaping humanity’s character. Ayodhya’s Muslim community hailed the temple’s completion.
