Today marked the moment when the decades-long struggle for the Ram Mandir finally came to an end with the completion of its construction. The movement has a long and emotional history in which the BJP played a significant role. The timeline includes the foundation laying of the Ram Janmabhoomi on 5 August 2020, the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla on 22 January 2024, and now, the flag-hoisting ceremony taking place today, 25 November 2025. This achievement became possible due to the faith and dedication of countless Ram devotees. PM Modi has arrived in Ayodhya and first participated in a grand roadshow where thousands of locals waited to welcome him. He greeted the people by waving to them, after which he proceeded for Ram Lalla’s darshan. At 11:55 am, he unfurled the saffron flag atop the temple’s shikhar in honour of Sanatan Dharma. Devotees were filled with enthusiasm and spiritual joy, chanting “Jai Shri Ram,” creating an atmosphere of positivity. Meanwhile, security was heightened, with around 7000 personnel including ATS, NSG snipers, and other forces deployed to ensure the smooth conduct of the ceremony.
