'I was praying to God that...’: Erika Kirk makes big revelation about the day her husband Charlie died

Erika Kirk has said she prayed she might be carrying another child at the moment her husband, conservative activist Charlie Kirk, was assassinated. The Christian wife called it the blessing she hoped would come out of tragedy. She is now the Speaking to The Megyn Kelly Show in an interview, Erika said the couple had hoped to expand their family. “We wanted to have four, and I was praying to God that I was pregnant when he got murdered.”

She added: “I was like, ‘Oh, goodness, that was going to be the ultimate blessing out of this catastrophe.’” Erika Kirk shares a daughter and son with Charlie. She said they had been excited about trying for another baby before he was shot dead by a sniper on September 10 at a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University. Erika said she was heartbroken but possibility of being pregnant had felt like a slim piece of hope for her. “I just, I was praying. Both of us were,” she said.
