‘No Final Call On Chandigarh Administrative Changes’: Centre Amid Political Row

The Union Home Ministry has clarified that no final decision has been made on the Centre’s plan to bring Chandigarh under the President’s direct control. Any move will follow consultations with all relevant stakeholders. The ministry also stated that it has no plans to introduce a related Bill in the upcoming Winter Session of Parliament.
