'World needs a just, inclusive, responsive global system:' UP CM Yogi Adityanath at 26th International Conference in Lucknow

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath, on Friday, said that in light of emerging technologies posing unprecedented challenges, the world needs a more just, inclusive, and responsive global system.Addressing the 26th ICCJW (International Conference of Chief Justices of the World), he emphasised that even 80 years after its adoption, the UN Declaration remains relevant today. He further emphasised that, whether addressing the challenge of global warming or finding solutions to the world crisis, India’s perspective can provide a path forward.”While emerging technologies are making life easier, they also pose unprecedented challenges, including cybercrime, data theft, and many other new problems. At such a time, justice and morality can play a vital role in shaping global peace and human civilisation. We should reconsider the UN’s declaration 80 years ago: that the world needs a more just, inclusive, and responsive global system. Eighty years on, this declaration remains relevant today,” said the Uttar Pradesh chief minister.”Our need today is not limited to those old beliefs, but to consider contemporary needs and better utilise platforms like the UN by speaking out on issues like climate change, cybersecurity, health crises, and global terrorism. We should also consider the ancient system of India in which the worship of earth, water, fire, air and sky is considered the basis and in the tradition of India, by considering them as a part of our life, their purity and their protection have always been given priority. Whether it is the challenge of climate change for the world or the way to solve the global crisis through it, India’s thinking can find a way to solve it,” added CM Yogi. The chief minister of Uttar Pradesh emphasised that this conference should convey an important message: justice must not only be grounded in competence but also ensure the security of every citizen.”When people from all over the world have gathered here through this International Conference, how can justice be the solution to the problems of humanity, through this conference a message needs to be given to the whole world, justice should not only be the basis of capability but also the security of every citizen, their commitment to them and their bright future,” said the Uttar Pradesh chief minister.Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath attended the 26th International Conference of Chief Justices of the World, organised by City Montessori School in Lucknow. The event began on November 19 and concluded on November 24. Notable speakers included defence minister Rajnath Singh, Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla, minister of science and technology Jitendra Singh, and Rajya Sabha MP Sudhanshu Trivedi. In a post on X, the Uttar Pradesh chief minister expressed confidence that this conference will succeed in presenting the sentiment of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” in a tangible form to the entire world.”The philosophy of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,’ meaning ‘The whole world is one family,’ has been a fundamental principle of India for thousands of years. Today, I participated in the 26th International Conference of the Honourable Chief Justices of the World held in Lucknow. At the same time, I also observed the performance of creative activities by students. I am fully confident that this conference will succeed in once again presenting the sentiment of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,” in line with Indian culture, in a tangible form to the entire world, Heartfelt congratulations to the former national presidents, jurists, and all esteemed guests who have arrived from across the world, and best wishes for the successful organisation of the program,” said the Uttar Pradesh chief minister.
