TKM said it will inspect the Combination Meter and replace the unit if it is found to be faulty.Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has issued a voluntary recall of 11,529 units of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder to inspect and replace a dashboard component linked to incorrect fuel level indication.
The recall covers vehicles manufactured between 9 December 2024 and 29 April 2025. TKM said it will inspect the Combination Meter and replace the unit if it is found to be faulty. Dealer representatives will contact affected customers.
According to the company, the subject vehicles (gasoline variants only) are equipped with an analogue fuel gauge that may not display the correct fuel level under certain conditions. As a result, the low fuel warning lamp may not activate when the fuel level drops below the set threshold.
TKM stated that if the driver is not alerted to low fuel levels, the engine may stop or stall due to an empty tank.
The company said the recall aligns with its customer-first approach and commitment to quality, and that it aims to resolve issues quickly and conveniently.
