‘Masti 4’ & ‘120 Bahadur’ Movie Review and Release Live Updates

The fourth installment of the ‘Masti’ franchise is now in theatres and the film promises everything that the franchise promises and is known for. It brings back the trio of Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh and Aftab Shivdasni. The film is clashing at the box office with Farhan Akhtar’s ‘120 Bahadur’. Both the movies are extremely different in their genres and will target a different audience.

All about ‘120 Bahadur’:

‘120 Bahadur’ is based on the heroic Battle of Rezang La in the 1962 Sino-Indian war, focusing on the valiant efforts of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, who was posthumously conferred the Param Vir Chakra which is India’s highest military honour, for his bravery. The film is about him and the 120 soldiers of the Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon Regiment. The movie is based on true events, showcasing the soldiers’ extraordinary courage and sacrifice in fighting against a vastly superior Chinese force, inflicting heavy casualties and defending their post till the last man.

The film stars Farhan Akhtar as Major Shaitan Singh and Raashii Khanna as Shagun Kanwar, the wife of Shaitan Singh. It is directed by Razneesh Ghai.

All about ‘Masti 4’:
‘Masti’ had released in 2004 and over the years it has established itself as a popular franchise when it comes to the adult comedy genre. After ‘Masti’ did exceptionally well in 2004, we had installments like ‘Grand Masti’ and ‘GreatGrandMasti’ in 2013 and in 2016 respectively. Now the fourth installment, ‘Masti 4’ has hit the screens. It clashes with ‘120 Bahadur’ at the box office.

‘Masti 4’ centres on three men who barely get along but still band together to break free from their monotonous lives. Their simple attempt to bring some fun into the mix rapidly escalates, pulling them into a chaotic tangle of crooks, mix-ups, and constant madness. Apart from Aftab, Riteish, Vivek, the film stars Tusshar Kapoor, Ruhii Singh and sees cameos from Arshad Warsi and Nargis Fakhri. It is directed by Milap Zaveri.
