Kareena ‘LIKES’ late Sunjay’s sister’s post against Priya

Kareena Kapoor Khan 'LIKES' late Sunjay Kapur's sister's explosive post calling Priya Kapur's inheritance battle a 'robbery' and 'fraud'

Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor Khan has seemingly stirred fresh attention to the high-profile Kapur family inheritance battle after she reportedly ‘liked’ a viral Instagram post featuring Mandhira Kapur Smith’s explosive remarks about the ongoing legal drama. In the clip from Mandhira’s appearance on the podcast InControversial with Pooja Chaudhary, she questioned the legitimacy of the will produced by Priya Sachdev Kapur, widow of Sunjay Kapur. Calling the inheritance battle a “major theft” and “pure robbery,” she alleged that certain family members were attempting to manipulate the inheritance and distort the Kapur family legacy. “If these people think we don’t know our own bloodline, think again… This is pure robbery… This is fraud” Mandhira said. In the clip she also states that her late brother Sunjay, just “led the family legacy.” She went on to add, “He did not create it. For her to be walking around representing our family, shame on her!”She also claimed that amid the courtroom battles, Priya has reportedly asked them to sign an NDA. Reacting to the same, she said with disbelief, “It is our estate. You’re telling us to sign an NDA for our own estate, wow.” In her clip, she also claimed that her mother had urged her to “bring everything back home.” She also expressed her resolve to ‘fight this till the end’ saying that the Rs 30,000 crore estate was also her inheritance and also belonged to her children. The video has since gone viral on social media with thousands of likes and shares. One among the many like was that of Kareena Kapoor Khan. Fans quickly took note of the like and said, “Kareena Kapoor liked the reel (laughing emoji)”Another said, Bebo liked it (wide eyes emoji)”The quiet endorsement of the viral post comes at a time when Kareena’s sister, Karisma Kapoor’s kids, Samaira Kapur and Kiaan Kapur, have challenged their late father’s purported will of his assets. The Delhi High Court had sought the response of Priya Kapur, on a plea by the children, seeking inspection of the will.Kareena’s sister, Karisma, was married to Sunjay from 2003 until their contentious divorce in 2016. Following the divorce, Sunjay married Priya Sachdev, who had a daughter from a previous marriage. The couple welcomed their son, Azarius, in 2018. Since Sunjay’s death, the massive inheritance dispute has continued to draw widespread media attention, with multiple parties staking claims to the late industrialist’s assets.
