The National President of JDU, Nitish Kumar, took oath for the 10th time as the Chief Minister of Bihar at Patna’s iconic Gandhi Maidan, marking a historic political milestone. Alongside him, BJP leaders Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha were sworn in as Deputy Chief Ministers. The ceremony saw a powerful display of NDA unity, with the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President JP Nadda, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Ministers from at least seven NDA-ruled states. A total of 26 ministers took oath as part of the new NDA-led cabinet , 14 from BJP, 8 from JDU, 2 from LJPR, and one each from HAM and RLSP. The cabinet includes one Muslim representative, Mohammad Jama Khan from JDU. After the ceremony, PM Modi greeted the people of Bihar with his signature Bihari-style gamchha wave, adding warmth to the celebration. Nitish Kumar also raised PM Modi’s hand on stage, symbolising the renewed strength and unity of the alliance. Among the notable new ministers were Rampal Yadav and BJP MLC Dilip Jaiswal.
