Her former sister-in-law Charu Asopa shared a loving post calling her “Ziana’s sexy bua” and praised her beauty and grace. Despite divorce, Charu and Rajeev co-parent with mutual respect. Sushmita Sen is celebrating her 50th birthday today, November 19. The occasion was marked by an outpouring of love and good wishes from fans, friends and fellow celebrities. Among the many touching tributes that came her way, was one heartfelt social media post from her former sister-in-law, actress Charu Asopa, who praised the actress with her warm and affectionate words.

Their rumoured reconciliation got a boost after they vacationed together with their daughter Ziana and were seen celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi and Durga Puja as a family. In response to growing rumours, Charu posted a video on social media clarifying the situation. She emphasized that while she, Rajeev, and Ziana share a happy and friendly bond, people should not misread their interactions. She also made it clear that there is no ill feeling between them anymore, and that they are focusing on the positive nature of their relationship as co-parents and friends.

Charu and Rajeev tied the knot in 2019, but due to growing differences, they separated and officially ended their marriage with a divorce in 2023.
