Is Marjorie Taylor Greene’s life in danger? Donald Trump answers amid H1-B, Epstein row

Is Marjorie Taylor Greene's life in danger? Donald Trump answers amid H1-B, Epstein row

Donald Trump downplayed concerns over Marjorie Taylor Greene’s safety, despite the Republican Congresswoman reporting threats against her and her family last week. The MAGA loyalist said someone had threatened to send a pipe bomb to one of her company’s offices, and ā€œhoax pizza deliveriesā€ have reportedly targeted her home and relatives’ residences, reports the Independent. Speaking to reporters, Trump addressed the concern. ā€œHer life is in danger? Who’s that?ā€ he asked. When reminded it was Marjorie Taylor Greene, he replied, ā€œMarjorie ā€˜Traitor’ Greene. I don’t think her life is in danger. Frankly, I don’t think anybody cares about her.ā€The feud appears to have deepened after Greene demanded the full release of the Epstein files last week and criticised Trump for reversing his position on H1-B visas, immigration and his claim that the United States lacks talent.Trump called her a ā€œtraitorā€ to the MAGA movement. Greene responded on X.ā€œPresident Trump’s unwarranted and vicious attacks against me were a dog whistle to dangerous radicals that could lead to serious attacks on me and my family,ā€ Greene posted. ā€œNow that President Trump has called me a traitor, which is absolutely untrue and horrific. Mark Levin has been calling me a traitor. And so have other prominent likely paid social media activists. This puts blood in the water and creates a feeding frenzy. And it could ultimately lead to a harmful or even deadly outcome. Also, the timing of this just happens to be days before we take the vote on releasing the Epstein files.ā€Greene insisted she is not a traitor: ā€œI love America and the American people, and I swore an oath to uphold the constitution and always do so.ā€Trump continued the attack on Truth Social, claiming Greene ā€œis the cause of all of her own problems.ā€ He wrote, ā€œWacky Marjorie ā€˜Traitor’ Brown (Remember, Green turns to Brown where there is ROT involved!) is working overtime to try and portray herself as a victim when, in actuality, she is the cause of all of her own problems. The fact is, nobody cares about this Traitor to our Country!ā€The dispute comes as the House of Representatives prepares to vote on the release of the Epstein files, which Trump had previously tried to block, branding the case a ā€œhoax.ā€
