Breaking: Nitish Kumar To Resign, NDA Plans 20 November Swearing-In With Modi Presence

Nitish Kumar, accompanied by Samrat  Choudhary and Vijay  Choudhary, is set to tender his resignation to the Governor, triggering a rapid government formation process. Once his resignation is accepted, the NDA’s constituent parties are expected to convene. Reports indicate a BJP legislators’ meeting will be held at 10 AM, followed by a broader NDA meeting, during which Nitish Kumar will be unanimously chosen as the leader of the legislative party. Preparations are already underway for Nitish Kumar’s swearing-in ceremony, which is tentatively scheduled for 20 November at Gandhi Maidan. Sources suggest that Prime Minister Narendra Modi may attend the event. Meanwhile, security arrangements at the Raj Bhavan are tight, and speculation is rife about whether Nitish will address the media after leaving. Although Nitish has largely avoided the press during the election, allies such as Samrat  Choudhary and Vijay  Choudharymight speak on his behalf. Political insiders say a power-sharing formula has been agreed upon: 13 ministries for the BJP, 13 for JDU, and potentially two to three more from other NDA allies. In the outgoing cabinet meeting, key resolutions were passed among them, dissolving the current ministry and expressing gratitude to Nitish’s leadership. JDU leader Jama Khan reaffirmed his support, saying he and other legislators are ready to follow Nitish into his next tenure.
