‘You are gay’: Tommy Robinson clashes with Nick Fuentes over his stance on Muslims

‘You are gay’: Tommy Robinson clashes with Nick Fuentes over his stance on Muslims

A new online dispute has broken out between Tommy Robinson and American commentator Nick Fuentes, after Fuentes referred to Robinson as a “Zionist tool” in a circulating clip. The video, shared widely across X, shows Fuentes accusing Robinson of being used to provoke clashes in Britain and to undermine pro-Palestinian demonstrations. Robinson responded publicly, dismissing Fuentes’ claims and questioning his understanding of issues involving Muslim communities in the UK. He also accused Fuentes of commenting on situations he has never experienced firsthand, framing the criticism as detached from British social realities.

Online exchange escalates into a public feud

The exchange began when Fuentes, speaking in a video shared on social media, accused Robinson of being used to provoke confrontations in Britain and to undermine pro-Palestinian demonstrations. He also suggested Robinson would be returned to prison once his role was fulfilled.Robinson replied directly on X, calling the comments “nonsense” and arguing that Fuentes had no experience of growing up around Islamic communities in the UK. His post also included a pointed question about why Fuentes had not been charged in connection with the events of 6 January at the US Capitol.

Social media reactions

  • “Tommy just lost 50% of his supporters with this one move!”
  • “Nick Fuentes defends extremism abroad while aiming at the wrong targets at home.”
  • “People are saying the timing of his Israel trip explains everything — and it’s no coincidence.”
  • “Fuentes is a Qatari-backed spy-op sent to split the movement — wake up!”
  • “Shouldn’t you be focusing on England instead of picking fights online?”
  • “He’s part of the very system he claims to fight against.”
  • “Fuentes has answered the January 6 question countless times — stop trying to paint him as a fed.”
  • “America has no idea how Islamic communities operate — Tommy needs to get on US podcasts and explain it.”
  • “Fuentes has no clue what it’s like living near Islamic neighbourhoods — he’s speaking from a bubble.”
  • “Your constant alignment with Israel is hurting your own cause — this isn’t helping you.”
