Jammu And Kashmir News: Massive naugam police station blast during explosive testing

A powerful blast shook the Naugam Police Station in Jammu & Kashmir on Friday night at 11:22 pm during the testing of a 358-kg explosive sample. The forensic team and senior J&K Police officials were present on the spot when the explosion occurred. This is the same police station where the first FIR related to the white-collar terror module was registered, raising further concern about the security protocols in place. Visuals from the site show the intensity of the blast, with nearby areas violently shaking due to the impact. Footage from the hospital reveals injured victims being treated amid visible chaos and unrest. Authorities have not yet confirmed the exact number of casualties, and officials warn that the death toll could rise. Investigating agencies have reached the blast site to assess the damage, collect samples, and determine what triggered the explosion. Further investigation is underway.
