UAE: Sharjah announces two week celebration for 54th Eid Al Etihad

Sharjah is preparing to host a dazzling celebration of the 54th Eid Al Etihad, commemorating the UAE’s journey of unity, progress, and cultural pride. From November 19 to December 2, 2025, the emirate will come alive with an exciting mix of parades, performances, heritage displays, and interactive activities across parks, historical landmarks, and heritage sites. Families, youth, and communities can enjoy events that honor tradition while celebrating the nation’s achievements.

Main celebration venues and opening ceremony

The official opening will take place at Al Siyouh Family Park on Wednesday, November 19, at 5:00 PM, featuring:

  • Traditional folk performances
  • Competitions for all age groups
  • Artistic and theatrical segments
  • Youth discussion panels
  • Cultural and community activities

Kshisha Park and Sharjah National Park will also host daily activities throughout the celebration period, including youth panels, children’s shows, and traditional performances.For the first time, Al Layyah Canal will join the celebration venues from November 28 to December 2, showcasing national performances and family business exhibitions, expanding the festivities to new audiences.

Musical highlights and special performances

Sharjah’s celebrations will feature several standout events, including:

  • Khorfakkan Amphitheatre (November 29): Musical evening with Emirati stars Hussain Al Jassmi and Fouad Abdelwahad
  • Khorfakkan (November 21): Operetta “Pulse of the Nation”
  • Kalba (from November 22): Annual operetta accompanied by fireworks
  • Dibba Al Hisn (November 22): National parade with fireworks

These performances promise a night of patriotic emotion and cultural pride, highlighting the UAE’s artistic talent.

Community and heritage celebrations across Sharjah

Across Sharjah, neighborhoods and heritage sites will host an array of activities:

  • Al Batayeh (November 27–29): Parades, folk performances, and the “Union Bus” distributing gifts
  • Al Dhaid (November 26–30): Grand parade and heritage market
  • Al Hamriyah Heritage Village (November 20–22): Traditional songs and classic car exhibitions
  • Wadi Al Helo (November 23): Poetry recitals and student performances
  • Al Khrous Suburb (November 28): Parades
  • Al Madam (November 22–23): Cultural discussions and video screenings
  • Mleiha Heritage Village (November 20–21): Desert ambiance with military bands and folk dances
  • Mughaider Suburb (Al Rifa’a Park, November 21–22): Bicycle parade and traditional performances
