Ranbir Kapoor may be one of Bollywood’s biggest stars, but when it comes to social media, he’s the complete opposite of his peers, private, low-key, and almost mysterious. However, during a recent interaction in Dubai, the ‘Animal’ actor made a revelation that left fans both shocked and amused.The ‘Barfi!’ actor admitted that he secretly runs an Instagram account, a ‘fake’ one, where he quietly scrolls, follows, and even posts!

Ranbir Kapoor opens up about hidden Instagram account

The ‘Rockstar’ actor confessed that he has what he calls a “finsta”, a fake Instagram account that he uses to browse content and follow people he finds inspiring. In his typical witty way, the ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ actor said, “Not officially on Instagram. I do have a… what’s that word? It’s called a… Finsta. Finsta. Which is a fake Insta account.”He went on to explain the reason behind his hidden social media presence, “You know, because there are such amazing people in the world who do such amazing inspiration stuff. So I do want to follow them. But because I’m an actor, I didn’t want to officially be on Instagram. Then I have a responsibility to really show myself off to the world. And I feel that I already have a medium, which is ‘acting’ and ‘movies’ and that’s enough for me to show myself to the world. ”

While fans were still processing the fact that the ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ actor has a secret account, he dropped an even bigger surprise. The ‘Sanju’ actor revealed that he has posted a reel with his daughter, Raha Kapoor, on this hidden profile. “And on the Finsta account, I did make a reel with my daughter. But I have no followers,” Ranbir said casually, leaving everyone shocked at the thought of a mystery Raha reel existing online.

Alia Bhatt reacts to Ranbir Kapoor’s revelation

Standing beside him during the interaction, wife and actress Alia Bhatt quickly jumped in, making the moment even more entertaining. “Yeah, I was going to say that. He wouldn’t even let me follow him,” she said, laughing at her husband’s secretive social media habits.

The ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ actress went on to explain that Ranbir doesn’t want her following him because it would draw unwanted attention. She said, “He’s like, no, because if you follow me, everyone will follow me. So I’m like peeking into his phone. He’s got like all of two reels on his Finsta account that only he and maybe two people will see.”

Ranbir Kapoor on the work front
