The election took place during the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference in Samarkand, Republic of Uzbekistan.   2. Al Jabal Al Akhdar Landscape Reserve

These designations reflect Oman’s proactive efforts to protect biodiversity, conserve natural landscapes, and promote sustainable development in line with its national vision and international standards.
