Red Fort Blast: Central Agencies Intensify Probe, Delhi Police Cautious Amid Ongoing Investigation

The investigation into the Red Fort car blast has intensified, with Delhi Police and central agencies working round the clock to uncover the truth behind the explosion. Officials have confirmed that the probe is still underway and no official statements will be shared until concrete findings emerge. Sources suggest that preliminary analysis points to the use of high-grade explosives, prompting the imposition of UAPA sections 16 and 18, along with provisions under the new Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The Hyundai i20 involved in the blast reportedly entered Delhi through the Badarpur border before being parked near the Red Fort’s Sunahri Market area for nearly three hours. CCTV footage captured the car moving slowly toward Metro Gate No. 1 moments before the explosion. Multiple suspects, including individuals detained from Jammu & Kashmir and Saharanpur, are under interrogation as agencies piece together links stretching from Faridabad to Pulwama.
