Delhi Red Fort Blast Probe Extends To J&K, Suspicious Pulwama Link And Faridabad Module Emerge

The investigation into the deadly Red Fort blast has taken a major turn, with Delhi Police tracing links of the i20 car involved in the explosion to Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district. The car’s first owner, identified as Salman, was detained and revealed that he had sold the vehicle to another individual, leading police to possible terror connections. Investigations now indicate that a Faridabad-based module may have used ammonium nitrate, the same explosive chemical used in the Pulwama attack, which was seized in large quantities earlier this year. According to Delhi Police and NSG sources, CCTV footage from the Red Fort parking area shows the i20 car parked for nearly three hours with a masked suspect inside before the explosion. The blast, which killed nine people and injured over twenty, has led to the registration of a UAPA case under Sections 16 and 18. Forensic teams and NSG commandos continue combing the parking area and surrounding streets, while intelligence agencies probe possible cross-border terror links. Security has been tightened across the capital as the government treats the incident as a potential terrorist strike.
