‘LoP means Leader of Partying’: BJP takes jibe at Rahul Gandhi; critiques Congress’ priorities amid Bihar polls

'LoP means Leader of Partying': BJP takes jibe at Rahul Gandhi; critiques Congress' priorities amid Bihar polls

BJP, taking a jibe at Rahul Gandhi’s jungle safari ahead of the Bihar elections, said that for him LoP stands for “Leader of Partying” or “Leader of Paryatan (tourism).” Shehzad Poonawalla, on a post on X, shared his comment on Rahul Gandhi’s safari in Panchmarhi, Madhya Pradesh. “LoP means Leader of Paryatan and partying for Rahul Gandhi. Even as Bihar elections are on, Rahul Gandhi goes for vacation. Election in Bihar, Rahul Gandhi enjoying a “Jungle Safari” in Pachmarhi,” he wrote while sharing a snippet from Gandhi’s safari. Calling this Congress’s disconnect to electoral realities, Poonawalla said this “shows his priorities.” Questioning their tactics further, he remarked that if they face defeat, they evade accountability and blame the Election Commission of India. He also took a swipe at Rahul Gandhi’s recent ‘H-bomb’ press conference on alleged vote theft, quipping that the ‘H’ actually stands for ‘holiday.’ “This shows his priorities. When they lose elections, they will blame ECI & do a PowerPoint presentation on H Files (holiday files),” he wrote. He concluded by saying that Congress has consistently failed itself but continues to blame others. “Ta umr Congress yeh galti karti rahi. Dhool chehre par thi, Congress aaina saaf karti rahi (Congress has kept repeating this mistake for ages. The dust was on the face, they kept wiping the mirror),” he remarked. Rahul Gandhi in Panchmarhi: Alleges BJP’s ‘vote theft’ model beyond HaryanaRahul Gandhi arrived at Panchmarhi hill station on Saturday to address the Madhya Pradesh Congress unit’s training camp for the newly appointed district and city chiefs. He also addressed the press in Panarpani and claimed that the vote theft charges in Haryana is not an isolated case and that BJP has used the same method to win the assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra too.“After seeing the data that I also presented in a press conference about how vote theft took place in Haryana, I think the BJP has done the same thing in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra. We have all the evidence and will release it one by one – what we have shown so far is only a little,” he said. On November 5, Rahul Gandhi held a press conference and dropped what he called the ‘H-files’, accusing the BJP of stealing votes during the Haryana assembly elections held in October 2024.
