Ssunita Ahuja on emotional vs physical cheating after Twinkle, Kajol

After Twinkle Khanna, Kajol, Govinda's wife Sunita Ahuja weighs in emotional cheating and physical cheating in a relationship: 'Ye dono hi kyun karna hai?'

Recently, Twinkle Khanna and Kajol were in the news for their views on ’emotional infidelity and physical infidelity’ in relationships. During a game session where they have to pick a side, the question was if emotional cheating is worse than physical cheating. Kajol, Karan, and Twinkle all three agreed on it while Janhvi did not. The trio felt that physical cheating is still okay, but emotional cheating is not. Twinkle said, ‘raat gayi baat gayi’, as she meant that physical cheating can still be forgotten. They then told Janhvi Kapoor that she’ll also feel the same when she’s in her 40s and 50s, right now she’s just in her 20s. On the other hand, Janhvi maintained her stance and felt that physical cheating is equally worse. Twinkle called it, ‘raat gayi baat gayi’ for physical cheating and Janhvi didn’t agree to it. Twinkle and Kajol faced backlash for the same and now Sunita Ahuja has also weighed in on the issue. Ssunita’s statement came after rumours of Govinda cheating on her. Ssunita said during a chat with Pinkvilla, “Aap kisi ko emotionally pyaar karte ho. Phir baad mein aap usko dhokha dete ho, that’s not acceptable. Kyunki dekhiye, main bahut emotional hoon. Like I adore Govinda till my last breath. Aur agar koi mujhe emotionally dhokha de, chahe mere bachche ho ya mera pati, mujhe bahut dukh hota hai. Kisi ko emotionally mat kaho, yeh achha nahi hai yaar. (When you love someone emotionally and then later betray them, that’s not acceptable. Because you see, I’m a very emotional person. Like, I adore Govinda till my last breath. And if someone betrays me emotionally — whether it’s my children or my husband — it hurts me deeply. Don’t hurt anyone emotionally; it’s not a good thing, yaar).” She further added, “Woh bhi nahi karna chahiye. Ye dono hi kyun karna hai aapko? It’s not right. Main ye sab sun rahi thi, mujhe lagta hai ye sab cheezein achhi nahi hai yaar. Matlab hamare maa-baap ne ye sab sanskaar nahi diye.(You shouldn’t do that either. Why do you want to do either of these things? It’s not right. I was listening to all this, and I feel these things just aren’t good, yaar. I mean, our parents didn’t give us such values).”
