When Vicky Kaushal spoke about Katrina Kaif’s discipline

When Vicky Kaushal spoke about Katrina Kaif’s discipline, 'She’s like a beast...'

Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif are among Bollywood’s most adored power couples. While fans cherish their romantic moments, Vicky has also been candid about his deep admiration for his wife’s professionalism. In several interviews, the Sardar Udham star has expressed awe at Katrina’s “monstrous” discipline, sharing how it inspires him — and offering glimpses into their “lazy” off-screen dynamic.

When Vicky Kaushal called Katrina Kaif a ‘beast’ of discipline

Vicky has often spoken about Katrina’s incredible work ethic with sheer admiration. During a 2023 appearance on The Ranveer Show, he affectionately referred to her as a “beast” when it comes to discipline, explaining that her preparation for film roles is all-encompassing — especially when it involves a song or action sequence.“She goes mental five months before her shot,” Vicky said, noting that her entire routine, including her “diet and everything else,” changes. He added, “She’ll be like, ‘You got to do what you got to do,’ and that is something remarkable about her.”

A ‘party of two lazy people’ at home

Despite her intense professional drive, Vicky has shared that the couple knows how to unwind. Speaking to Bollywood Bubble in 2023, he admitted that if he’s at home and not working, he’s the “lazy one.” However, he added that their relationship maintains a perfect balance.“When we are both at home and chilling… we’re both lazy. It’s beautiful — it’s really like a party of two lazy people,” he shared. He clarified that her discipline is never a point of conflict but rather a “monster” she switches on when required for work. “But she’s like a monster when she’s required to be disciplined. Like, she’s a monster,” he added with a smile.

The couple’s new ‘bundle of joy’

Now, the couple is embarking on a beautiful new chapter together — parenthood. Vicky and Katrina recently announced the birth of their first child, a baby boy, on November 7, 2025. They shared the joyful news through a heartfelt joint statement on social media that read, “Our bundle of joy has arrived. With immense love and gratitude, we welcome our baby boy. 7th November 2025. — Katrina & Vicky.”Vicky also shared a simple yet emotional caption on his post: “Blessed.” Go to Source
