Drunk cop rams SUV into bikes, kills 1, injures 4

INDORE: An assistant sub-inspector (ASI) in MP’s Neemuch district allegedly rammed his SUV into multiple bikes on Friday night, killing a 42-year-old teacher and causing serious injuries to four others, including his wife and two children.The teacher’s 10-year-old son had to undergo amputation of both legs following the crash, reports Karishma Kotwal. Another biker too sustained serious injuries. The accused, Manoj Yadav, was on Saturday suspended and arrested on charges of rash driving, endangering human life and causing death by negligence. Based on eyewitness accounts, he was heavily drunk at the time of the crash.
