The blood-soaked alien land with hierarchy and the need to prove one’s worth has had a grip on the viewers – and the internet has been talking about it. From the distinguished franchise, the newly released ‘Predator: Badlands’ has received a lot of hearts and green signals from netizens.

The plot of ‘Predator: Badlands’

Released on November 7, 2025, ‘Predator: Badlands’ revolves around the assumed weak link from the clan, who has been barred out. The need to prove the power evokes an emotion, making the protagonist face hell in order to reclaim the honour. However, the antagonist is so savage and lethal that many fear going through a perilous journey, refusing to face the creature.

The netizen’s verdict

The initial reviews are out, and the appreciation has been off the roof. From direction to the concept, every bit and piece received a shout-out – and even applause. Calling it the favorite film of the year, one user mentioned, “I absolutely loved every second of Predator: Badlands. Wasn’t a big Yautja fan before but Dek won me over fast. Dek & Thia? I need more of them. This honestly turned out to be my favorite film of the year so far. I was glued from start to finish. Thank you, Dan Trachtenberg.” Another user highlighted the perfect mixture of adventure, seriousness, comedy and action, saying, “OMG, #PredatorBadlands is amazing. It gave so much depth & dimension to the Predator, allowing more development to the lore. I love the adventure & how serious, action-packed, and funny it was. The cinematography& production is SO GOOD. Director Dan Trachtenberg does it again.”

Left the theater feeling the same way I did after Fury Road. Impossibly cool from beginning to end. Tons of heart, lots of laughs. Epic. Excellent. LOVED it.”
