The Janmashtami celebration took over the nation, especially Mumbai, on Saturday, August 16. Actor Govinda joined the festivities with Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde at the Thane Dahi Handi event. And when Govinda is in the house, he will never disappoint his fans or, in this case, the crowd gathered. The actor showed off his trademark moves on stage during the celebration.

Bollywood actor Govinda attended the Dahi Handi event in Thane on Saturday. For the occasion, the actor wore an all-black outfit. Now, several videos of him enjoying the event have gone viral on the internet. In one of them, he can be seen grooving to the music on stage. Even in the heavy downpour, Govinda got everyone excited as he showed off his cool dance moves. He grooved to the tunes of ‘Sona Kitna Sona Hai’ song rom one of his film, ‘Hero No. 1,’ while everyone in the crowd cheered for himTake a look:

On the auspicious day, before attending the Dahi Handi event, the actor visited the ISKCON temple in Juhu, Mumbai. Wearing a kurta-pyjama, the actor offered prayers at the temple. He even posed for pictures on the premises.

He was a Congress leader from 2004 to 2009. Talking about the same, PTI quoted him saying, “I was in politics from 2004 to 2009. It is a coincidence that I am returning to politics after 14 years.”
