Aditi Mishra from the All India Students’ Association (AISA) emerged victorious as the new President, marking a significant milestone for the student wing. The post of Vice President was claimed by K. Gopika from the Students’ Federation of India (SFI), while the General Secretary position went to Sunil Yadav. Danish Ali was elected as the Joint Secretary, completing the Left’s comprehensive win. The elections witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, reflecting their continued faith in the Left alliance’s leadership and policies. The victory is being viewed as a strong statement against right-wing student groups, underscoring the Left’s enduring influence in JNU’s political sphere.
