Patna, Bihar, As the first phase of Bihar Assembly elections gets underway, anticipation rises at 10 Circular Road, the residence of former Chief Minister Rabri Devi, where preparations are in full swing for the Lalu Prasad Yadav family to cast their votes. According to sources, Tejashwi Yadav, Leader of the Opposition and RJD’s chief ministerial face, will be the first to step out and vote from his Raghopur constituency, from where he is contesting for the third consecutive time. Tejashwi is expected to vote around 9:30 AM before addressing a series of 18 public meetings later in the day. Following him, the rest of the Lalu family, including Lalu Prasad, Rabri Devi, and their daughters will head to the polling booth. Meanwhile, in Digha, polling has begun with vibrant arrangements, including selfie points, rangolis, and red carpets for voters. Youth voters cite education, employment, and development as key issues. Senior BJP leader Nitin Navin, contesting from Bankipur, cast his vote early and urged citizens to participate enthusiastically. With strong voter turnout and energetic participation, Bihar’s electoral spirit is on full display today.
