NEW DELHI: Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Wednesday came out strongly in support of Rahul Gandhi’s allegations of “vote theft” in Haryana, urging citizens to “recognise their power” and “drag the ruling government out.” Speaking at a public rally in Valmiki Nagar, West Champaran, she accused the ruling NDA of “destroying everything” and called on people to recognise their power and act against it.

‘Seema, Sweety, Saraswati’: Rahul Gandhi’s Sensational ‘Vote Chori’ Claim In Haryana

“Today my brother brought it out in front of everyone, everything that went down in Haryana, how these people have stolen the entire elections. The entire country is watching and the whole nation should watch it. But I have a complaint to the nation, why is the country silent? Why are you silent? Why don’t you recognise your power – change them, drag their government out and make a new government,” she said. Her comments came as her brother Rahul Gandhi, the leader of opposition in Lok Sabha, accused the BJP of “stealing” the mandate in the Haryana Assembly elections last year and claimed that the Congress’s victory was “converted into a BJP win” through planned manipulation. At a press conference in Delhi, Rahul Gandhi had released what he termed the “H-Files”, alleging large-scale irregularities during vote counting and asserting that the tampering took place “at both the state and national levels.” He claimed the party had received “numerous complaints” from candidates and said the election commission had failed to safeguard the democratic process. He further warned that India’s democratic foundations were being “destroyed,” and said the “future of India’s youth” was at stake.Priyanka Gandhi’s remarks extended that warning to a larger political call, telling voters that the NDA “will destroy everything” if not voted out. Her comments also echoed the party’s ongoing campaign narrative that democratic institutions were being undermined. The controversy began after Rahul Gandhi alleged that around 25 lakh fake votes were found in Haryana, including cases where one person allegedly voted 22 times under multiple identities – claims the BJP and the election commission have both rejected as unfounded.
