Salman Khan to play warrior Jeeva Mahala in Riteish Deshmukh’s Raja Shivaji; Sanjay Dutt to essay Afzal Khan

Salman Khan is reportedly set to make a grand appearance in Riteish Deshmukh’s upcoming historical epic Raja Shivaji. The superstar will portray Jeeva Mahala, the courageous and loyal warrior who was one of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s most trusted aides. According to reports, Salman will film his sequence on November 7, and the scene is expected to be one of the film’s most defining moments.

Jeeva Mahala played a pivotal role in saving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj during a fierce attack by Sayyad Banda, the trusted lieutenant of Afzal Khan. With Salman Khan stepping into the role of Jeeva and Sanjay Dutt playing Afzal Khan, audiences can expect a grand, emotionally charged confrontation that pays tribute to valor and sacrifice.

Salman’s bond with Riteish Deshmukh

This isn’t the first time Salman and Riteish have collaborated. Salman made a cameo appearance in Riteish’s Marathi blockbuster Lai Bhaari and also appeared in the song Ved Lavlay from Ved.
